Meet the Moms

A goldendoodle is a mix between a golden retriever and a poodle. The goldendoodle comes in different sizes, mainly determined by the size of the poodle. One misconception people have is that all goldendoodles are non-shedding and hypoallergenic, but this is not true for a F1 goldendoodle. An F1 is half poodle and half retriever, but will still shed lightly to moderately and is not hypoallergenic but can be recommended for people with light allergies. Our puppies are either multi-gen, F1b or F1bb goldendoodles. The selection process includes breeding for the highly desired non-shedding. We breed crosses to ensure non-shedding crosses. We have found the slightly higher poodle percentages delivers that non-shedding and hypoallergenic coat. Some people with dog allergies may still have allergies to multi-gen, we would be happy to do a t-shirt test if you are unsure.

An english cream goldendoodle means that the bloodline of the retriever is European. There are some differences in the English golden retriever and the American golden retriever. Aside from the color, they are shorter in stature, with blockier heads, larger bones and a more plush coat when compared to the American Golden Retriever. The dams that we are using from from champion bloodlines of English goldens.

Our original line of goldendoodles are true english cream and they have European champions in their bloodline. Ellie, our retired dam, is an English Cream Goldendoodle whose bloodline was imported from Europe and includes a 2005 and 2006 European champion Apple Jack Xanthos who has sired more than 19 more champions. A quick google search will reveal his amazing bloodlines. Ellie has an amazing temperament. She loves children and other animals. She has never cried in her crate, even as a puppy. We couldn’t believe how great her personality has been and we want to share that experience with other dog lovers. Both her parents are OFA certified Good or Excellent in hips and elbows and so is Ellie. For this reason, we kept two of Ellie’s previous puppies in our program and they are the females we breed now! Ellie is the grandma of our two current females.

Sophie is so much fun! She travels with her guardian family and sleep every night with her person. She has this beautiful non-shedding merle coat. She is roughly 38lbs.

PORSHA -

Porsha was kept in our breeding program mainly for her amazing temperament. She has been doing therapy work for elderly people and has the most gentle disposition of all the dogs we own. Her curly coat is soft in texture and she is about 30lbs.
